The Department of History of Science and Scientific archaeology at University of Science and Technology of China (Hefei) invites applications for postdoctoral fellowship. We primarily invite scholars from the broader field of history of science, who are working on issues related to our research fields.
We offer an inspiring research atmosphere in an interdisciplinary environment. The length of the stay at the USTC is negotiable from 1 up to 2 years. We might postpone your research stay.
We also encourage scholars from fields beyond the leading discipline History of Science to apply. We welcome scholars from broader research fields namely, Archaeology, East Asian Studies, Philosophy, History of Thought, Social History or Religious Studies. Candidates must hold a PhD degree and have outstanding expertise in their research fields.
